Entrepreneurs Basecamp

It is easy to see that the success of our communities and the wealth we all share will be diminished if entrepreneurs do not flourish. The Business Council of Australia’s recent report highlights the lack of innovation and creativity in business today.

There is something that can be done to help that process along. Entrepreneurs Basecamp is a program run through a community partnership between Enterprising Australia, Rotary, Advantage and Curtin University.

Entrepreneurs BasecampThis is an initiative to provide training opportunities focused on the skills people need to succeed as entrepreneurs and risk-taking initiators of change and development. Entrepreneurs Basecamp is the first of three phases of skill training offered.

The second and third phases target more experienced people who seek to rejuvenate and hone their capabilities . Advantage, assisted through its partnerships aims to conduct each of the three phases of the program on an annual basis. Currently we are based in Western Australia, however in 2007 we are aiming to run the camp in other states.
